Recap

The Trinks Brothers Royals defeated the Warriors in one of the first night games in league history.  Matt Garvais and Bill Riggieri combined for an excellent pitching performance, Garvais striking out 6 and giving up only 1 hit and an unearned run over 3 quality innings while Riggieri shut down the Warriors in quick order, striking out 4 in 2 perfect innings.  Offensively, Bill Riggieri broke out, going 2-3 with a double, single, run scored and 3 RBI.  Tyler Palumbo, the speedy rookie outfielder, has continued to get on base and wreck havoc on the basepaths, going 1-1 with 3 BB’s, a RBI, and 2 runs scored including sliding home safe on a wild pitch all the way from second.  Todd Euliano continues to be the ultimate super-sub, filling up the scorecard going 1-1 with 2 BB’s, R, and a RBI.  Izzy Crespo worked 3 walks, while Matt Garvais reached base 3 times with 2 BB’s, a HBP and a run scored.  For the Warriors, Jacob Ladd scored a run, while Jon had a sacrifice fly RBI.
