Expos win 10 – 0 in 5 1/2 innings shutout behind another stellar performance by their pitchers. Mike Musumeci got the nod and didn’t disappoint. He went 6 innings, gave up 3 hits, 1 walk and 9 strikeouts. He was also 1 for 3 at the plate, with an RBI and 2 runs scored. George Platsis got the Expos started with a walk and scored the first run on a dropped fly ball, finishing 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs and 2 stolen bases. Joe Turcotte continued his hitting streak, going 1 for 2, with a hit by pitch, and a run scored. Greg Kraucunas got his first 2 hits of the year going 2 for 2, with 2 runs scored, a sacrifice fly and an RBI. Ian Adelstein also joined the hit parade with 2 hits and 2 this. Leo Davila reached base all 3 at bats with walks, scoring twice with a stolen base. Andy Rhodes had a great day at the plate, going 2 for 2 with a run scored, stolen base and knocked in an RBI with the bases loaded to end the game in walk off fashion in the bottom of the 6th. Chris Platsis and Jacob Pullen also had a hit.

For the Rockies, Zack Underwood hit a shot double. Matt Crepon and Eric Fischl also had a hit.
