The Devils at the Phillies Sunday was yet again another hard fought battle as is the case any time these two rivals face each other. There have been some great games between these two long-time rivals in the GHIBL and Sunday was more of the same. It was a pitchers all game with both teams playing good defense – the game was tied 1 to 1, late in the bottom of the 5th with 2 outs, Sebby Motta’s RBI Hit gave the Phillies the lead (1 for 2 with 2 RBI). The Phillies tacked on a few runs in the top of the 6th. Final score was 10 to 1.
