Badgers beat the Rockville Royals 6-5 in an 11-inning marathon with plenty of dramatics.  The Badgers took a 5-0 lead into the top of the 5th, thanks to some timely hitting by Doug Evans, Kyle Quenzer, and Josh DeJesus, as well as some defensive lapses.  However, the Royals came roaring back with one run plated in the top of the 5th by Aaron Swahn, followed by a 4-run rally in the top of the 6th.  Shane Legare started the rally with a single, followed by a long RBI triple by Eric Rubelmann.  Aaron Swahn then followed it up later in the inning with his own RBI triple.  After Matt Garvais and Carl Guglietta walked, Jay Botti came up with two outs a batter later and delivered a RBI double to tie the game.  The Badgers and Royals’ pitchers dueled for 5 more inning before the Badgers’ Allen Shippee walked it off in the bottom of the 11th.
