Recap

The Trinks Brothers Royals won 5-2 over the Hornets in a well-pitched game.  For the Royals, Billy Riggieri, Shane Legare, and Eric Rubelmann all pitched well.  Riggieri struck out 6 in 3 innings pitched and only gave up 1 hit while not walking any Hornets.  Legare pitched 2 innings giving up 1 earned run and striking out 2.  Rubelmann slammed the door striking out 2 in the last two scoreless innings.  Offensively, both Izzy Crespo and Sean Perez had successful debuts for Trinks Brothers.  Izzy went 2-2 with a run scored, BB, and stolen base.  Sean worked 2 walks and had a RBI single while also scoring a run.  Jay Botti had a clutch 2 RBI single with the bases loaded to give the Royals a 3-0 lead.  Shane Legare chipped in going 1-2 with a walk and a run scored.  Eric Rubelmann added a long double and reached base twice.  Rich Hilton scored two runs, working a walk and going 1-2, continuing to produce season after season.  For the Hornets, Aiden Gagnon pitched well out of the pen, going 2 1/3 innings giving up only 1 run.  Paul Arce went 1-3 with a run scored.  Zach Savluk reached base twice, while veteran Marc Parent went 2-2.  Tony Famiglietti reached base twice and scored a run.
