Recap

The Rockville Royals defeated the Ravens 9-2 at Henry Park.  Several Royals had quality days at the plate.  Matt Eliseo went 3-4 with three stolen bases and a run scored.  Bill Riggieri also went 3-4 and added two stolen bases and a run scored.  Eric Rubelmann continued his successful rookie campaign, going 2-3 with two doubles, a run scored and a RBI.  Curtis Anthony went 2-3 as well and added a RBI, run and stolen base.  Matt Garvais broke out in his rookie season, going 1-2 with a 2 RBI single, a BB and a run scored.   On the mound for the Royals, Shane Legare had a sensational performance, working 5 strong innings striking out 5 and only giving up 2 hits.  For the Ravens, Matt Cartwright pitched well, but ran out of gas in the middle innings.  He also added a hit offensively.  Joel Figueroa pitched admirably in relief, and also reached base twice at the plate and scored a run.  Justin Cirone also scored a run.
