Recap

The Rockville Royals defeated the Badgers 3-0 in a close pitchers duel.  For the Royals, Bill Riggieri was dominant once again, throwing the shutout with 15 strikeouts and giving up only 2 hits and 1 free pass.  Josh Svoboda was a big part of the Royals offensive attack, going 1-2 with 2 RBI.  Kevin Putkonen had a good debut, reaching base all three plate appearances and scoring a run.  Curtis Anthony also reached base all three stops at the dish.  Tim Field went 1-2, while Scott Clouser added a run scored.  For the Badgers, Eli Carpenter pitched well out of the pen going 2 scoreless with 4 punchouts.  Jose Arriaga and Allen Shippee both went 1-2.
