Recap

Rockville Royals came from behind twice in a thriller to defeat the Ravens 5-4.  The Ravens added two in the 4th on a double by Tim Dickson scoring Sean Lopata, and Ben Lopata scored Dickson on a sacrifice fly.  However, the Royals tied it in the bottom of the 5th with a three run rally, started off by Jesse Wilkinson who was on fire.  Matt Eliseo worked a walk, then consecutive singles by Tim Field, Curtis Anthony and Rich Hilton strung together the rally.  Sean Lopata singled and later came into score in the top of the 7th, making it 4-3.  In the bottom of the 7th, the Royals rallied one more time.  After Curtis Anthony and Rich Hilton singled again, Junior Antonelli worked a walk, setting up Aaron Swahn for the “Swahn song” walk-off RBI single.  Not to be forgotten, Matt Garvais pitched a gritty, complete game for the Royals in his first career GHIBL start on his birthday and got the victory.  Garvais gave up two earned runs striking out 3 and battling out of jams all day.  Jesse Wilkinson went 2-3 with a run scored.  Matt Eliseo worked three walks, stole a base and scored a run.  Curtis Anthony went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and a RBI.  Rich HIlton added two hits, a run and a RBI.  Junior Antonelli reached base three times, and Aaron Swahn went 2-4 with a RBI and a SB.  For the Ravens, Sean Lopata went 2-3 with two runs scored.  Matt Cartwright reached base all three opportunities including a double.  Justin Cirone pitched very well in his start for the Ravens.
